If you want to play D&D, but don't have friends locally, remember to check out some of your favorite Twitch D&D channels. Many have discords with channels dedicated to community sessions with dedicated audio/video rooms. I have a discord with a chat hub that users can generate their own rooms, then set up their own rules as per needed. D&D is great at a table with friends and family, but online is JUST as rewarding and fun.
